Freeware is software, most frequently personal, that's distributed at no financial cost to the end stoner. There's no agreed-upon set of rights, license, or EULA that defines freeware unambiguously; every publisher defines its own rules for the freeware it offers. For case, revision, redivision by third parties, and rear engineering are permitted by some publishers but banned by others. Unlike with free and open- source software, which are also frequently distributed free of charge, the source law for freeware is generally not made available. Freeware may be intended to profit its patron by, for illustration, encouraging deals of a further able interpretation, as in the freemium and shareware business models.
